Refund Policy — Microsoft Windows Applications
If you bought directly from Black Saints (no reseller account)
For a direct bulk purchase made on the software category page itself, Black Saints is the seller of record and this guarantee applies to you directly, not through a reseller:
- Dead-on-arrival or non-activating keys. Report it within 14 days of purchase and Black Saints will issue a replacement key or a full refund to your original payment method, your choice.
- How to request one. Email info@blacksaints.co with your order ID and a description of the issue (a screenshot of any Microsoft error code helps).
- What isn't covered. A key that activated successfully and is later "returned" because you changed your mind, or a key deactivated by Microsoft for violating Microsoft's own license terms after activation (for example, reselling it a second time).
If you're an approved wholesale reseller
This section covers the wholesale relationship between Black Saints and an approved partner. It does not set the refund policy a partner offers their own end customer — that remains each partner's own decision, made under their own storefront's terms.
Digital keys can't be "returned" — but they can be replaced
A license key or subscription seat is consumed the moment it's issued, so there is no physical return process. Instead, Black Saints stands behind every key it issues to a partner with a replacement-or-credit guarantee:
- Dead-on-arrival keys. If a key is invalid, already redeemed, or rejected by Microsoft's activation servers through no fault of the end user, Black Saints will issue a replacement key or a full wholesale credit to the partner's account — no questions asked.
- Reporting window. DOA and non-activating keys must be reported within 14 days of issuance. Because keys are typically activated within minutes of purchase, this window is generous relative to how quickly an issue would normally surface.
- Wrong product or duplicate order. If a partner's system issues a duplicate order for the same key, or the wrong SKU was fulfilled due to a Black Saints error, we credit or replace it at no cost.
What isn't covered
- Keys that have been successfully activated and are later "returned" because the end customer changed their mind. A successful activation is a completed sale.
- Keys deactivated by Microsoft due to a violation of Microsoft's own license terms after a successful activation (for example, reselling an activated key a second time).
- Keys sourced correctly but affected by a change on Microsoft's side after delivery (product retirement, licensing program changes) — Black Saints will work in good faith on these but they fall outside the standard guarantee.
How a partner requests a replacement or credit
- Sign in to the Partner Portal and locate the order.
- Contact info@blacksaints.co with the order ID and a short description of the activation error (a screenshot of the Microsoft error code helps us resolve it faster).
- Black Saints verifies the issue against the sourcing supplier and issues a replacement key or a wholesale credit, typically within 1–2 business days.
Your customers, your policy
Because the partner is the seller of record to their own end customer, each partner sets and honors their own consumer-facing refund policy. Black Saints' replacement guarantee to the partner is what makes that possible to offer confidently — but it is a wholesale-level guarantee, not a direct guarantee to the end consumer.
